Awning Room with Floor 2 x 2.5 m Khaki – Car Awning Enclosure with Windows and Doors –...
Awning walls for 180º, 270º and straight awnings: a sheltered room
Awning walls clip onto the perimeter of the awning and close off its sides, turning the space under the canvas into a sheltered room. They are the ideal answer on windy, rainy or chilly days, and whenever you want privacy on busy campsites and motorhome stopovers. The porch becomes an outdoor room you can use at any time of day.
Braguscamp makes walls for every type of awning. For 270º awnings there are 2 m and 2.5 m walls in grey for the left or right side; for 180º Premium awnings, walls in 2.0 and 2.5 m; and for straight awnings, walls in 2 x 2.5 m and 2.5 x 2.5 m. Khaki floor enclosures with mesh-screened windows and doors complete the range.
Most walls use 280 g ripstop polyester with PU coating, waterproof and UV-protected, built to withstand intensive use on the road. Fitting is quick and tool-free: clip it to the awning, tension it with pegs and pack it away again in a few minutes.

How to choose the right wall for your awning
The key is for the wall to match the type and size of your awning. First identify whether it is a 180º, 270º or straight awning, then its 2 m or 2.5 m projection. For 270º awnings you also need to choose the same side of the vehicle, left or right. If in doubt, email us your awning reference and we will point you to the exact wall.
✓ Identify your awning type: 180º, 270º or straight
✓ Check the projection: 2 m or 2.5 m
✓ For 270º awnings, choose the left or right side
✓ Decide between side walls or a full floor enclosure
Frequently asked questions about awning walls and enclosures
Are the walls compatible with my awning?
They are designed for Braguscamp awnings of the same type and size, which ensures a precise fit. Each wall's product page states the compatible awning model. If your awning is from another brand, send us its measurements and we will confirm the fit before you buy.
Are they waterproof?
Yes. The walls are made from waterproof polyester fabric, in most models 280 g ripstop with PU coating and UV protection. They keep the rain out while you camp; in a severe storm, make sure the frame and awning guy lines are well tensioned.
How long do they take to fit?
Just a few minutes. The walls clip onto the awning without tools and are pegged to the ground so they sit taut. Packing them away is just as quick, so you can close in the awning only when you need to.
Why do 270º walls come in left and right versions?
Because 270º awnings wrap around the side and rear of the vehicle and are made for a specific side. The wall must match the same side and the same size as your awning, 2 m or 2.5 m, to close the perimeter correctly.
What is the difference between a wall and a floor enclosure?
A wall closes off the sides of a specific awning, whether 180º, 270º or straight. A floor enclosure forms a complete room down to the ground under 2 m and 2.5 m straight awnings, with windows and doors fitted with mosquito mesh and zips.
How should I care for and store them?
Clean the fabric with water and mild soap and let it dry completely before storing. If you have to pack it away wet, open it again as soon as possible to prevent mildew marks. That way the wall will keep its water resistance for many trips.
Can I close just one side of the awning?
Yes. There is no need to close the whole perimeter: you can fit a single wall on the side the wind is coming from or where you want privacy, and leave the rest open to enjoy the views and the airflow. It is the quickest way to improve comfort under the awning when the weather changes or on a busy campsite.
What wall sizes are available for each type of awning?
For 270º awnings, 2 and 2.5 m walls in grey, for the left or right-hand side. For 180º Premium awnings, 2.0 and 2.5 m walls. For straight awnings, 2 x 2.5 m and 2.5 x 2.5 m walls. And if you want a complete room down to the ground, khaki floor enclosures with windows and doors with mosquito nets.
Do the walls protect from the sun?
Yes. The ripstop polyester canvas with UV protection filters solar radiation, and the walls are especially useful early in the morning and late in the afternoon, when the sun is low and the awning roof no longer provides shade. Fitting a wall on the sunny side creates a much larger, cooler shaded area.
Can I use the walls in strong wind?
In moderate wind, walls are your best ally: tension the fabric firmly with the pegs and secure the awning's guy lines so the whole set-up works as one unit. Bear in mind that a closed wall presents more surface to the wind. If the gusts are very strong, remove the walls and close the awning to avoid damage to the arms and brackets.
How do I ventilate the space with the walls fitted?
If you use side walls, leave one side or part of the perimeter open so air can circulate. The floor enclosures have windows and doors with mosquito nets and zips, so you can ventilate without letting insects in. Ventilation is especially important if you cook under the awning or keep damp clothes and gear there.
Can I sleep under the awning with the walls fitted?
Yes, especially with a floor enclosure, which forms a complete room under 2 and 2.5 m straight awnings. Inside you can place a ground tent or a camp bed. Side walls also give you more protection for sleeping, although the space remains more open. Pack everything away if strong wind or a storm is forecast.
What does 280 g ripstop canvas mean?
Ripstop is a fabric with a grid of reinforced threads that stops a small cut or puncture from spreading, hence its high tear resistance. The 280 g refers to the fabric weight, in grams per square metre, which indicates how dense and robust the material is. The PU coating provides the waterproofing.
Do I have to remove the walls to close the awning?
Yes. The walls are fitted when you camp and removed before closing the awning into its cover and setting off. That is why they are designed to go up and come down in a few minutes without tools. If you have to take them down wet, store them separately from the awning and open them out to dry as soon as you reach your destination.
