Cookie policy

This policy explains which cookies braguscamp.com uses, what they are for, who sets them and how you can accept them, reject them or change your choice at any time, in accordance with Art. 22(2) of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and the GDPR.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. They make it possible, for example, to keep you logged in, remember the products in your basket or find out how many people visit a page.

In this policy we also use the term “cookies” for similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage or third-party scripts that read or store information on your device.

2. Types of cookies

Depending on their purpose, braguscamp.com uses the following types of cookies:

• Essential (strictly necessary): they make the shop work (session, basket, language, checkout) and store your cookie choice. They do not require consent.
• Analytics: they help us understand, statistically, how the website is used so that we can improve it (Google Analytics). Only with your consent.
• Advertising: they measure the effectiveness of our Google Ads campaigns. Only with your consent.
• Third-party: set by external services embedded in the website, such as YouTube videos, Google Maps, PayPal or seQura.

Depending on who manages them, they can be first-party (Braguscamp’s own) or third-party; and depending on how long they last, session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (kept for the period stated).

3. Cookies we use

These are the cookies detected on our website:

In addition, the website embeds a Google Maps map on the contact page, the seQura financing simulator and PayPal payment at checkout, and loads Google Fonts typefaces. These services may set their own cookies or receive your IP address when they load; their use is governed by each provider’s privacy policy.

Durations are approximate and may vary if the provider changes its cookies. We review this list regularly.

4. Consent and how to change it

When you first visit braguscamp.com we show you a cookie banner. Essential cookies are always set because the website needs them to work. Analytics, advertising and third-party cookies are only set if you accept them.

Your choice is stored in the cookielaw_module cookie for 1 year. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings:

• Google Chrome
• Mozilla Firefox
• Safari
• Microsoft Edge
• Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on

If you block all cookies, some shop features, such as the basket or login, may not work properly.

5. Third-party services

To find out more about how the third parties whose services we use process your data, please see their policies:

• Google Privacy Policy
• How Google and YouTube use cookies
• PayPal Privacy Statement
• seQura Privacy Policy

Some of these providers may process data in the United States. These transfers are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses, as explained in our privacy policy.

6. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy when the cookies we use or the applicable law change. We recommend that you review it regularly. If you have any questions, write to us at info@braguscamp.com with the subject line “Cookies”.
