Roof Tent Accessories

They are designed for Braguscamp tents, and parts such as thermal insulation and load bars are made for a specific model. Others, like the 120x200 topper or the anti-condensation mesh, may suit other brands’ tents with similar dimensions; always compare the measurements before you buy.

We offer made-to-measure premium thermal insulation for the Xplorer 135 and 145, Everest 135, Savage 135, Forest 160, Sahara 160 and Terra S, plus the Adventure insulation. Choose the one that matches your model and size: its multi-layer fabric and cotton design reduces cold, heat and condensation.

It sits under the mattress and, thanks to its open-cell structure, lets air circulate between the mattress and the tent base. This stops moisture from breathing and cool nights from building up, a common cause of mould, especially in autumn and winter.

The load bars for the Nomad Pro and Wild Pro hold up to 35 kg; for 135 cm tents there is a complete two-bar kit, with full details on its product page. Remember that the total weight, tent plus load, must never exceed the dynamic load of your roof bars or your vehicle.

The Braguscamp anti-theft kit replaces the standard fixings with hardened steel security nuts with an exclusive head, designed to resist tampering. Combined with the 7075 aluminium reinforced mounting kit, your tent stays firmly attached to the bars and far less exposed when parked.

With the pulley garage storage kit, rated up to 75 kg, you can lift the tent and leave it suspended from the garage ceiling with minimal effort. The waterproof, UV-resistant Oxford 420D protective cover goes on in about 2 minutes and keeps it clean between trips.

It sits on top of the tent mattress and adds an extra layer of comfort, ideal if you sleep on your side or spend many nights in a row in the tent. It measures 120x200 cm and its foam is CertiPUR certified. It also improves insulation from the tent base on cold nights. Check that its size matches your model's mattress.

It lets you remove and refit the awning without tools. It is handy if you do not need the awning on a particular trip and want to reduce weight and wind resistance, if you store it separately off-season or if you want to take it off to clean it properly. You avoid loosening and tightening the bracket bolts every time you remove or refit it.

It is a covered room that fits beneath the Wild Pro rooftop tent and extends your camp at ground level. It is made from Oxford 900D, a robust fabric for intensive use, and serves for changing, storing gear or sheltering from wind and rain. You can buy it separately or in the complete Wild Pro pack with annex.

The padded, non-slip protective step covers fit over the rungs of your rooftop tent ladder. They make climbing up and down barefoot more comfortable, especially at night, improve grip when the ladder is wet from rain or dew, and reduce knocks and rubbing when you lean it against the bodywork. They fit in a few seconds.

The most effective combination is the thermal insulation made to measure for your model, which reduces cold and condensation on the canvas, and the anti-condensation mat under the mattress, which prevents damp in the base. Add the topper to insulate yourself better from below. Even with everything installed, always leave a window or vent slightly open to refresh the air.

The anti-condensation mat always goes underneath, between the tent base and the mattress, so air circulates through its open cells and moisture does not get trapped. The topper goes on top of the mattress, under the sheet or sleeping bag. That way each accessory does its job: the mat protects the base from mould and the topper improves comfort.

Yes, most install without difficulty. The topper, anti-condensation mat, thermal insulation, cover and step covers are fitted by hand without tools. The anti-theft kit replaces the mounting hardware with security nuts that are tightened with their exclusive-head key; keep it somewhere safe. The reinforced mounts require loosening and re-tightening the fixing to the bars.

Thermal insulation is not just for winter: it also reduces the heat transmitted by the canvas when exposed to the sun, so the interior stays cooler in the evening. Open the mesh windows to create a through-draught, park in the shade whenever you can and keep the anti-condensation mat under the mattress, because humid summer nights also produce condensation.
