4x4 Side Awnings

It depends on the length of your roof and the area you want to cover. Awnings with 2 m projection are ideal for cars and SUVs, while 2.5 m models suit vans and longer vehicles better. If in doubt, email us your vehicle model and we will recommend the right size.

Yes. The awnings attach to the roof rack or roof bars with the included brackets and need no modifications to the vehicle. Make sure your bars are properly tightened and, if you prefer, we will advise you on the best position for your model.

A 180º awning wraps around the side of the vehicle, while a 270º model also covers the rear. The Premium 270º awnings are made for either the left or the right side, so choose the side where you usually set up your camp.

The Abako 180º and the reinforced aluminium 270º awning support themselves on their arms, with no legs required. In windy conditions, however, it is wise to tension the guy lines and peg them to the ground so the structure stays fully stable.

In strong wind, secure the legs and guy lines or close the awning. If you pack it away wet, open it again as soon as you can to let it dry and prevent mildew marks. Clean the canvas with water and mild soap and check the bracket bolts from time to time.

Yes. Braguscamp makes walls and enclosures for its 2 m and 2.5 m straight awnings as well as for the 180º and 270º models. Always choose the wall that matches the type and size of your awning for a perfect fit.

PU 2000 mm means the canvas has a polyurethane coating that withstands a 2,000 mm water column, a standard way of expressing how waterproof a fabric is. UV50+ is the protection factor against ultraviolet radiation, the highest on the scale. In practice, the awning protects you from rain and filters strong sunlight.

Yes, the straight awnings in the range come with LED lighting as standard, and the 230 cm reinforced aluminium 270º awning includes it too. The lighting is built into the profile, so your living area stays lit after dark without hanging lamps. Check each model's product page to see how the light is powered.

The straight LED awnings come in khaki or dark grey, two shades that suit most vehicles and adventure gear and hide road dust well. The Premium line, with 180º and 270º awnings in 2.0 and 2.5 m, comes in grey. The walls for 270º awnings are grey and the floor enclosures are khaki.

Yes, it is the most common combination. The awning fixes to the roof rack or bars on the side with its own brackets, while the tent sits on top. Check that the bars are long enough for both, that the awning does not interfere with the tent ladder and that the total weight does not exceed the bars' dynamic load.

It is an awning designed as a portable shower annex: it creates an enclosed space next to the vehicle where you can change or shower in complete privacy. It is very practical after the beach, surfing or a mountain hike. Combine it with the 24 L portable shower tank with manual pump or the 30 L solar tank to wash anywhere.

Yes. Once fitted, the awning stays on the roof rack or bars packed in its cover and travels with you without taking up space inside the vehicle. Before setting off, check that the cover is properly closed and that the arms and legs are stowed. Check the tightness of the brackets from time to time, especially after driving on bumpy tracks.

The 230 cm reinforced aluminium 270º awning, free-standing and with LED lighting, covers up to 13.5 m², because it wraps around the side and rear of the vehicle. It is the ideal area for group travel, setting up a full kitchen or spending several days in one place. Combined with its walls, you can close part of the perimeter against the wind.

Very little time. Open the cover, unfold the arms and, on straight awnings, set the aluminium legs; in moments you have a shaded porch. Free-standing models such as the Abako 180º are supported by their arms. For greater stability, especially in wind, spend a few more minutes tensioning the guy lines and pegging them down.
