At Braguscamp we manufacture our own roof tents, and we know that the first fitting is when most questions come up: how does it attach to the bars? Which bolts does it use? How tight should they be? How do you open and close it properly? That's why, when you collect your tent from our warehouse, our team fits it to your vehicle free of charge and explains everything you need to enjoy it safely from day one.
What does the fitting service include?

We check your roof bars, the distance between them and that the whole set-up is suitable for the weight of the tent.

We install the tent with the LockNLoad mounting system (T-track rails), centred and aligned on your vehicle.

We check the mounts and bolt torque so it travels firm and secure, on dirt tracks and motorways alike.

Come to our warehouse with your vehicle
We'll be waiting for you in Villalbilla (Madrid, Spain) on the agreed day. We unpack the tent in front of you and fit it straight onto your vehicle.
Leave ready for adventure
You drive away with the tent fitted, checked and knowing how to use it. We keep the packaging and recycle it.
Is there any cost for the fitting?
Fitting is completely free: we don't charge for labour, the check or the how-to walkthrough.
The only cost is a small eco-fee for recycling the cardboard and plastic packaging. A roof tent travels very well protected: an oversized cardboard box, plastic wrap, foam and corner protectors. When we fit it at our warehouse, all that packaging stays with us and we take care of sorting it and sending it for proper recycling.
♻️ The benefit for you: no need to transport a box over two metres long or find somewhere to get rid of it, and you help give the packaging a second life.
Before you come: checklist
- Roof bars fitted. Your vehicle needs crossbars or a roof rack suitable for a roof tent. Don't have them yet? Ask us: we also stock bars and accessories.
- Dynamic roof load. Check your vehicle and roof bar manuals for the maximum load allowed while driving and compare it with the weight of your chosen tent.
- Your order number to hand, to speed up the handover.
- Punctuality. We reserve a slot just for you; if you can't make it, let us know on WhatsApp and we'll give you another appointment.
- A clear roof. Remove roof boxes, bike racks or any other accessories taking up the space where the tent will go.

Does free fitting apply to every roof tent?
Yes, to all Braguscamp roof tents collected from our warehouse by appointment.
What if I'd rather have it delivered to my home?
No problem: we ship with insured transport throughout Spain and Europe. Fitting is straightforward and we'll help you on WhatsApp if you have any questions. When it arrives, check the box in front of the driver and note any knocks or damage on the delivery note before signing.
Does my vehicle need special roof bars?
It needs crossbars or a roof rack with enough capacity for the weight of the tent. Before booking, send us your vehicle's make, model and year and we'll confirm compatibility.
Will you show me how to open and close it?
Of course. Once it's fitted, we show you how to open it, close it, position the ladder and look after it so it lasts for many years.
What guarantee does my tent have?
Our roof tents come with a 3-year guarantee. And because we're the manufacturer, we handle any spare parts or technical queries directly.
Why is there an eco-fee?
Because we take care of all the cardboard and plastic packaging from your tent and handle its recycling. It's the only cost of the service: the fitting and the walkthrough are free.
