AR2 PRO dual motor diesel heater for rooftop tents, campers and vans
The AR2 is the dual motor diesel heater in the Braguscamp PRO range. Instead of a single fan, it has two brushless motors, each with its own variable-frequency control: one meters the combustion air and the other drives the warm air. The result is a cleaner flame, steadier heat and less diesel for every hour of use.
It is designed for people who sleep in a rooftop tent, camper or van and want dry heat without installing anything in the vehicle. Combustion air and the air that reaches your tent travel in separate circuits: only clean, warm air goes inside, and exhaust gases leave through the exhaust pipe outdoors.
Power it from your vehicle's 12 V battery, from a 24 V system or from a portable power station with a 12 V output. Its twin 6 L + 10 L tank gives you several nights of runtime, and you control it from the LCD panel or with the remote.

How to connect the dual motor diesel heater to a rooftop tent
The heater always stays outside, on the ground. Only the warm-air duct enters through the side port of your rooftop tent, so there is no combustion or smoke inside. Set-up is tool-free and takes just a couple of minutes.
- Place the heater on the ground, level and stable, under the tent and close to the side port.
- Fit the side exhaust pipe with the muffler and heat sleeve, pointing outwards and away from the tent and the air intake.
- Connect the Ø 76 mm warm-air duct to the Ø 75 mm outlet and secure it with its connector.
- Pass the other end through the tent's side port and close the drawstring or Velcro around the duct.
- Fill the tank with diesel, connect the power, switch on and set the temperature on the panel or remote.
Safety: never use the heater inside the tent or in an enclosed space. The exhaust must always vent outdoors, and we recommend sleeping with a carbon monoxide (CO) detector inside the tent.
Power: 12 V, 24 V or power station
12 V battery
Connect it to your car or camper battery with the cable supplied. For full nights with the engine off, we recommend an auxiliary LiFePO4 battery.
24 V system
It accepts 12 to 24 V DC, so it also suits trucks, buses, boats and vehicles with 24 V systems.
Power station
Use it with a portable power station with a 12 V DC output for heat away from the vehicle, at camp or in a cabin.
Diesel consumption and runtime
Consumption depends on the temperature you set and how cold it is outside. These are approximate figures:

Use diesel only. Do not use petrol, kerosene or other fuels. Figures are approximate and vary with ambient and set temperature.
